2028 is a leap year: February has 29 days and the year has 366. It starts on a Saturday and ends on a Sunday, so it has 53 Saturdays and 53 Sundays, one more of each than 2027. There are 52 ISO weeks: week 1 starts on Monday 3 January. Nearly all holidays fall on weekdays, 11 of 13, and Easter comes late, on 16 April 2028. The result is 249 working days from Monday to Friday, fewer than in 2027 despite the extra day. 29 February does not change the holidays, but it pushes every fixed date of the following year one extra day along: 2029 will start on a Monday. Anyone keeping a company calendar should remember that February 2028 has one more working day than usual.
