About Calendario Ponti

Radif Partners reads Italy's Law 260 of 1949 and its amendments, up to Law 151 of 2025 that makes 4 October a holiday from 2026, checks each published town's patron saint on the town's own website or charter, and computes Easter with the Gregorian algorithm. From that it derives long weekends, working days and calendars for 2026 to 2028, all in your browser. It sells no trips, hotels or calendars.

Why this site exists

In the autumn people in Italy book next year's leave and look for the days where a single day off turns into a long weekend, a ponte. Most lists of those days sit on pages that want to sell you a trip afterwards, or on calendars printed before Law 151 of 2025 made 4 October a holiday. Hardly any of them count the town's patron saint, which changes the year's bridges for anyone working in Milan, Naples or Bari. Here the calculation starts from the law and your town, and tells you exactly how many days off you get for the leave you want to spend.

Who publishes it

The publisher is Radif Partners, a company that builds tools from public rules and data. Radif Partners is not an authority or a consultancy, has no link with the Italian government, any region or town, and uses no coats of arms or logos. The site sells no trips, hotels or calendars and carries no affiliate links.

Where the data comes from

National holidays come from article 2 of Law 260 of 1949, read together with Law 54 of 1977, Presidential Decree 792 of 1985, Law 336 of 2000 and Law 151 of 2025. The patron saint of each of the 85 towns published was read on the town's own website or charter, with the date it was read. Easter is computed with Gauss's formula and the clock changes follow Directive 2000/84/EC. How the long weekends are worked out is on the method page; how we correct mistakes is in the editorial policy.

Your data

Every tool runs in your browser. The year, town and leave days you enter are neither sent nor stored. There is no account and no form. Details are in the privacy notice.

What the site does not do

It does not approve leave and does not know your employment contract. Whether 24 and 31 December are off for you, whether your employer closes on bridge days or whether a collective agreement gives you more leave is in your own documents. It sells no travel.
